WELCOME SUMMER 2017 INTERNS

METECS is very excited to welcome 5 interns to our team this summer!  Andy Hudson will be starting his freshman year at UT Dallas.  He has been making games and simulations for about 8 years and wants to go into research in machine learning.  Braeden Kennedy is an incoming senior in the Turing Scholars Computer Science Honors program at UT Austin where he enjoys cooking, playing guitar, and developing video games in his spare time.  He has won Best in Show at a Game Jam for their VR game.  Lorenzo attends Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a rising junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in robotics.  Nihal Dhamani is a Computer Science and Astronomy major at UT Austin and loves working on various coding projects.  Joshua Neu is going into his 4th year at John Brown University pursuing a major in Electrical Engineering and was part of a robotics team prototyping a cable-robot for NASA last summer.  These interns will spend the summer working on fun and technically challenging projects in the areas of mixed reality, dynamics, software, and RFID technology.  We are looking forward to an exciting and productive summer with Andy, Braeden, Lorenzo, Nihal, and Joshua!
