Travis has a Bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Masters from Carnegie Mellon University, both in software engineering. He has 7 years of development experience from a broad range of projects and platforms including desktop GUIs, mobile apps, websites, continuous integration, and automated testing. Prior to METECS, Travis worked at a Boeing subsidiary in the field of software-defined radio and at UNC Charlotte’s College of Computing and Informatics as a research associate. He also previously interned at Iowa State University’s Virtual Reality Application Center, where he studied then-emerging Augmented Reality (AR) technology.
