METECS would like to welcome our newest team member, Ray Seegmiller. Ray earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Idaho. He worked his way through college as a jack-of-all-trades working for a small business developing new interferometer and spectrometer technologies. Duties included machining, 3D CAD, circuit board layout and development, system assembly, calibration and testing, and all software development needs. Upon graduating, Ray took a job at Southwest Research Institute where he has spent six years as a software developer. He worked on a number of projects including voice command input, databases, network based telemetry, crowd simulation, and immersive 3D telecommunications training. Welcome aboard Ray!

Welcome 2014 Summer Interns

METECS is excited to welcome 4 interns to our team this summer!  Nathan Woodward and Leon Kozinakov both attend the University of Texas at Austin.  Nathan is a Mechanical Engineering major.  Leon is an Electrical and Computer Engineering major.  Serafino Bohrer-Padavos is an Aerospace Engineering major with an emphasis on Astronautics and an AFROTC Cadet studying at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott.  These interns will work exciting and technically challenging tasks in the areas of Simulation and Graphics.  Raymond MacLean’s work this summer will be focused on Business.  He joins us from  the University of Texas at Austin where he is majoring in Business.  We are looking forward to a productive and fun summer with all of our interns!
