METECS Supports Desert RATS

Congratulations to the NASA Desert RATS team who recently completed a three day test of the functionality and habitability of the Multi-Mission Space Exploration Vehicle.  METECS was instrumental in the simulation and 3D graphics development for this exciting project!

METECS Attends I/ITSEC 2011

METECS is currently pursuing challenges outside of our core NASA customer base.  Our collaborative discussions with PEO STRI, RDECOM, and supporting contractors provided multiple points of entry for us to leverage our NASA expertise and assets in the ongoing effort to improve the safety and efficiency of today’s warfighter.

Frank Graffagnino receives Silver Snoopy!

METECS congratulates our own Frank Graffagnino on his receipt of the prestigious Silver Snoopy Award.  NASA’s Astronaut Office awards the Silver Snoopy for outstanding performance to those employees who have significantly contributed to the space agency’s goals for human exploration and development of space. Frank receive his snoopy for outstanding contributions to graphics rendering capabilities at JSC and in particular for contributions to future human spaceflight through the Engineering Dynamic Onboard Ubiquitous Graphics for Exploration (EDGE) software package.
